2015 ILMEA Auditions

ILMEA Auditions for the 2015-2016 school year are on Saturday, October 3, 2015. More information to come!

Congratulations Annika Marchi!

Annika Marchi will be representing RCMS at the District 1 ILMEA Honor Band Festival on Saturday November 8th in Lockport. She was one of hundreds of students who auditioned to be accepted to perform with the honor band! We also had Lara LaTour, Tyler Wenberg, Ally Moyers, and Vanessa McLean all tryout at the middle school level. Congratulations to all for auditioning and great job Annika for making the honor band!

ILMEA 2014

Any students interested in auditioning for IMEA this year should contact Mr. Klos. The deadline for audition registration is September 11th, so please let Mr. Klos know before then if you would like to audition. The date of auditions is on the calendar.

Congratulations to Baleigh Harmon!

8th grade trombonist Baleigh Harmon was selected to the District 1 IMEA Junior Concert Band Festival. She auditioned with over 1000 students in the South Suburbs and will perform on Saturday November 9th at Riverside-Brookfield HS. Congratulations on your accomplishment!

Two Students Selected to the District 1 IMEA Festivals

Baleigh Harmon (trombone) was selected to the 2012 District 1 IMEA Concert Band Festival on November 3rd and Hunter O'Shea (tenor sax) was selected to the 2012 Distrtic 1 IMEA Jazz Festival on November 10th. Congratulations to both RCMS students, your hard work and dedication has paid off!
